 Butter ........... 2 tablespoons
 Salt .............. to taste

 First soak 1 cup of black lentils in lukewarm water.
 Now add 2 more cups of hot water.  Add 1 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 tablespoon crushed red chillies and 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste and cook.
 When the lentils are well melted, chop them.
 Then add 1 packet of fresh cream and salt to taste and cook for a while and keep it on low heat.
 Then heat oil in a frying pan and add 2 tablespoons butter and 4 finely chopped garlic cloves.
 When the garlic is golden brown, add it to the lentils and serve with hot plain rice.
